457(b) Deferred
Compensation Information
In addition to a pension, The City offers full-time employees the option to contribute to a 457(b) pre-tax retirement plan. While this plan is similar to, it is not identical to, its private sector cousin, the 401(k). Currently City employees have three different providers to choose from: MissionSquare, Nationwide, and Fidelity Investments.
Please note The City does not match
contributions for this retirement plan option.
